Project Story: Gateway Luxury Apartment Homes

Location: Uptown Charlotte, NC

Gateway West Uptown Flats is a 280 unit urban mid-rise apartment community located in uptown Charlotte, just a short walk from Johnson & Wales University. The courtyard areas were designed so that residents can maximize their enjoyment of the view of the Charlotte uptown skyline.

In addition to full site design, permitting, water and sanitary sewer design, Landworks Design Group provided landscape and hardscape design for an elevated courtyard as well as streetscape design for this $38 million project.

Gateway West features two premier courtyards with a heated saltwater pool, outdoor grilling stations with flatscreen TV, fire pits & water features and a turf greenway with outdoor games areas.
