Enderly Park
Location: Charlotte, NC - Mecklenburg Park & Recreation
With origins dating back ±70 years, “Enderly Park Playground” was deeded to the Charlotte Park & Recreation Commission for recreational purposes. Today the Park was identified as an equity park by Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation and prior to Landworks Design Group coming on board, the County engaged in a public input process to incorporate community perspectives and ideas. Feedback through stages of design and input from various County departments have developed plans that seek to steward reinvestment. The proposed improvements include replacing and reshaping the trail system, shifting and/or resurfacing and striping existing courts, creating an overlook space, constructing a new shelter, repairing areas of poor drainage, extending water service, adding a dog park and new play and fitness equipment.
Enderly Park is an existing neighborhood park that was in need of revitalization. Park amenities included resurfacing sport courts, realigning trails, maintaining and adding play structures and fitness equipment, installing a new dog park, and replacing the shelter while using the old location as an overlook.

Services included: Schematic design, utility design, construction document preparation and permitting. Bidding assistance and construction administration services were established as additional services if needed.
